Offered by our brother Dn. Philipos Solomon, here at The Meskel Organization, we believe that we can connect youth with their spiritual roots through a variety of programs. The traditional Ethiopian/Eritrean instrument called the “Kirar” can be used to learn and play spiritual hymns. Many have regained spiritual consciousness due to the Kirar’s calm and soothing nature. As a skill, you’ll be able to play a traditional instrument. Spiritually, you will feel more connected to God through the messages the hymns convey and the sounds the Kirar creates to bring it all together.
